Welcome to Done To Death 3D Printing.

The name “Done To Death” comes from the metal detecting world — a phrase that started as a bit of fun and quickly grew into something much bigger. What began as a metal detecting group under the Done To Death name became a popular, thriving and well-loved community.

Now, we’ve expanded that same passion, creativity and attention to detail into Done To Death 3D Printing.

We only design and ship products that we would genuinely buy ourselves. From a simple keyring or coaster to a detailed bust figure, every item is created with care, time and pride.

Quality is our priority. We use dependable materials, focus on the finer details, and make sure each product is something you’ll be proud to own.

We hope you enjoy exploring our range as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing it to life.

Our Story

Signals of Hope was created from a simple but powerful idea — that even in our darkest moments, there are always signals of light waiting to be found.

For years, metal detecting was more than just a hobby — it was a lifeline. The quiet hum of the detector, the open fields, and the promise of uncovering something lost to time brought peace where the mind once felt heavy. Each dig became a moment of mindfulness, a breath of calm, and a reminder that treasures are often buried, both in the ground and within ourselves.

After years of living with mental health struggles, it became clear that this feeling — that sense of calm and connection — was something shared by many others in the detecting community. The sweeping coil and the sound of a good signal became symbols of hope, strength, and recovery. From that realisation, Signals of Hope was born.

This isn’t just a clothing brand or a shop — it’s a message, a movement, and a growing community of people who understand that hope can be found in the smallest of moments. Through our inspirational designs, metal detecting stories, and mental health awareness projects, we aim to remind people that it’s okay to talk, to feel, and to heal.

Every hoodie, every slogan, every story shared on this site carries a deeper meaning — a signal to others that they’re not alone. We celebrate both the thrill of discovery and the quiet power of resilience.

And it doesn’t stop with us. If you’ve written a book, shared your story, or created something that connects with our mission, we’d love to feature it here. Signals of Hope is about community, compassion, and courage — giving a voice to those who’ve faced their battles and come out stronger.

Together, we dig for history, for meaning, and for hope. Because just like the treasures we unearth, even when it’s buried deep — hope is always there, waiting to be found.

Signals of Hope Participant

"Andy welcomed me like I’d known him for years but i had never met him before. There was no pressure, just a relaxed day out detecting and talking when i felt like it. Little things like the free goodie bag and beanie hat made it feel really thoughtful too."

★★★★★  James P.

Signals of Hope Participant

"I was nervous about going at first because my anxiety can be pretty bad, but Andy made it really easy to feel comfortable. Being out in the fields with a detector gave my mind something else to focus on for a while. It was the calmest I’ve felt in a long time."

★★★★★ Tony B.

Verified Buyer

"Bought the hoodie and tumbler together and both are excellent. Comfortable hoodie and the tumbler is perfect for relaxing with a drink after a long day out detecting. Great products and a great cause."
