A Huge Thank You to Our Supporters

At Signals of Hope Detecting, everything we do is built around one simple idea — giving people the chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and find a moment of calm, focus, and purpose out in the fields.

Every session is completely free of charge.

There is no cost to those who come along — just an opportunity to breathe, reset, and try something new in a supportive, pressure-free environment.

But none of this would be possible without the incredible support of those who believe in what we are trying to achieve.

I want to take a moment to personally thank Minelab for sponsoring enough equipment to allow me to take out two participants at a time.

This is a huge step forward for Signals of Hope.

It means more people can be reached.
More conversations can happen naturally.
More individuals can experience that quiet moment where everything slows down — even if only for a few hours.

I also want to recognise the ongoing support from Crawfords Metal Detectors.

Your continued backing, encouragement, and belief in this project truly makes a difference — not only behind the scenes, but out in the field where it matters most.

I’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to Black ADA for playing a part in helping us provide the full experience to those who have never been detecting before. Support like this helps turn a simple day out into something truly memorable.

Without all of you, I simply could not do what I am doing.

This is about far more than equipment.
It is about impact.
It is about giving people a chance — sometimes at the very moment they need it most.

As part of this support, Crawfords have also made it easier for anyone inspired to get started themselves. If you’re looking to purchase equipment, there are two discount options available — and you can choose whichever gives you the best saving   (only one can be used per transaction):

NEW30 – £30 off any order over £300 (must be logged in). Ideal for beginners purchasing bundle deals or upgrading their machine.

HOPE10 – 10% off accessories across most of the site (excluding detectors). Perfect for building your own setup with pin pointers, coils, spades and more.

They also offer free delivery on orders over £99, and customers who create an account will earn reward points — a great added bonus for those starting their journey.

And for that continued support — both in the field and beyond — I am incredibly grateful.

Land & Dig Support

The Signals of Hope project relies on one simple but vital thing — land to detect on. Without fields, there are no signals to listen for, no peaceful walks across open ground, and no opportunity to introduce people to the calm and focus that metal detecting can bring.

I’m always grateful to dig organisers, farmers, and landowners who are willing to help support the project by allowing us access to land or by welcoming us onto organised digs. Even allowing one or two additional people to attend with me can make a huge difference.

These individuals are always supervised, respectful, and follow the detecting code of conduct — filling holes, respecting crops, and treating the land with care.

Your support doesn’t just provide a place to detect — it provides someone with a few hours of quiet, purpose, and hope.

If you are a landowner, farmer, or dig organiser who may be able to help, please feel free to get in touch.

Sometimes the most valuable thing a field can give isn’t treasure —
it’s a moment of peace for someone who really needs it. 🌿
